Ponderosa selects a local charity and helps them make a difference with their marketing strategy. This year we decided to help Simon on the Streets to raise awareness of the of the homeless issue through a hard-hitting and effective campaign.
We focused on the run up to Christmas – a particularly tough time for the homeless. The Blue Plaque campaign was created to make people in the street look down and see where the forgotten sleep and live and remind them that there is more to someone than first meets the eye.
The campaign created a huge amount of social media conversation, raising awareness of the issues and funds donated. The project was also featured in Creative Review’s Blog and shortlisted for a number of effectiveness awards.
